Lisa Brown Morton, SPHR, President, leads the company with more than 20 years of human resources management experience working with nonprofit and for-profit organizations; her areas of expertise include organizational culture, employee relations, human resources policy development, staffing and recruitment and benefits plan design and management. She has designed and implemented a broad range of highly successful human resources programs and policies tailored to the specific needs and cultures of nonprofit organizations.
Prior to establishing Nonprofit HR Solutions, LLC in 2000, Lisa worked as Director of Human Resources & Administration with the American Symphony Orchestra League and served in a variety of human resources management capacities with other nonprofit and for-profit organizations. While managing and growing Nonprofit HR Solutions, Lisa concurrently served as Vice President of Human Resources & Administration with the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging and was responsible for leading the association's strategic human resources and operational management functions.
In June 2003, Lisa launched Nonprofit Staffing Solutions, a division of Nonprofit HR Solutions, to meet the temporary, direct hire and executive search needs of nonprofit organizations.
Patty Hampton, CSP, Vice President and Managing Director, has been with the firm since its inception. She has more than 18 years of experience in human resources. Prior to joining Nonprofit HR Solutions, she served as Director of Human Resources with the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). Specializing in transforming communication in the workplace, Patty has developed training programs and facilitated focus groups, resulting in the enrichment of the employee and supervisory relationship. A seasoned staffing and HR professional with a focus on staffing and retention management, Patty leads the day-to-day operations of Nonprofit Staffing Solutions.
Dawn Taylor, Director of Business Development, brings over 15 years of experience as a sales/customer service trainer, life skills coach and mentor. Prior to joining Nonprofit Staffing Solutions, Dawn was the Executive Vice President and General Manager of two large and influential human resource staffing firms in the Washington DC metro area. Dawn has broken industry records with her unique style of consultative selling practices. Dawn also hosts a weekly radio show that deals with workplace issues such as discrimination and other topics related to career enhancement. Dawn was inducted into the Heritage Registry of Who's Who, a biographical publication that selects and distinguishes individuals throughout North America who have attained a recognizable degree of success in their field of endeavor and contribute to the growth of their industry.
Benjamin Freedman, Staffing Consultant, brings a dynamic background of both nonprofit and staffing work experience to the team. Benjamin is a Magna cum Laude graduate from Long Island University with a degree in Special Education. Additionally, he earned a Certificate in Human Resources from Cornell University. Professionally, Benjamin has many years of nonprofit experience with organizations that have concentrated on youth development and education. Approximately 5 years ago, after working has way to management level positions, he made the decision to join the staffing industry. After working 3 years in staffing, primarily for law firms, Benjamin briefly combined his skills in staffing and his experience working in training to a DC nonprofit, Byte Back as their Employment Specialist working to assist graduates of their program in employment. We are very pleased to welcome Benjamin to the team as he brings a rare combination of industry knowledge for both the staffing we perform and the nonprofits we service.
Destiny Kibalama, MBA, Associate Staffing Consultant, brings experience in human resources and recruiting with a home healthcare staffing agency and more than four years of expertise as a customer service and management professional with a multi-billion dollar car rental organization. Destiny has an MBA from University of Maryland/University College, a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Earlham College and holds a PHR certificate. Destiny has career success in managing an HR operation singlehandedly and has exceptional competencies in recruitment, workforce development and a passion for global business management.
